Katie Blair is an exceptional young woman. She’s working towards a degree in Physics while managing two boys and writing a mature adult-themed zombie apocalypse graphic novel. Based loosely on her days as an exotic dancer—never one to shy from her past—she’s parlayed those experiences into a raw story about the underbelly of life that few get to see firsthand. It’s full of visceral horrors, exploitation, beauty, and brains–in both senses of the term; it’s smart and literally full of brains, you’ll see them scattered across the page.

There will be blood, there will be gore, but the putrid hordes chomping at the characters take a backseat to the depraved humans who use the apocalypse as an excuse to let their darkest sides roam free.

This is Katie’s first foray into the world of independent comic books and she’s grown as both a fiction writer and artist since developing this story with Caffeine & Ink.
